Grille Mod
I have seen some z's and ss's with what looks like an aftermarket grille. I asked them where they got it and they said they just did the grille mod. What is the grille mod and how do you do it.

Re: Grille Mod
IT LOOKS LIKE THEY JUST TOOK THE FACTORY GRILLE OFF AND LEFT IT LIKE THAT. IT HAS SIX HOLES FOR A GRILLE TO BOLT UP TO. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />

NO NEED TO BE RUDE (ALL CAPS MEANS YOU'RE YELLING)
Yes, they just removed the grill and had the 6 leftover holes filled in and repainted by a body shop. The holes have to be filled with a flexible filler. Some also painted the "CAMARO" on the front in a contrasting color, or used decals. The hard foam behind the bumper isn't black. Most paint the visible part of the foam black (the part you see throught the 2 large holes in the grill). Then they use Gutter Gaurd (wire mesh available at Home Depot) behind the two large grille holes.
This is just an overview of how its done, maybe someone who has a camaro can show you pics of thiers or give more/better tips.

Re: Grille Mod
Sorry, I didn't know all caps means you're yelling. I was at work and the comuters stay on CAPS at all times. The server we use requires it. Sorry
