i dont think those scratches are from finger nails. if you look at the picture with the door you can see where it hit metal. also as far as insurance you can claim it against your own but youll have to pay the detectable. id just pay for it out of pocket since your deductible would go towards the paint anyways and you wouldnt have a claim against your insurance. also you can try to text your ex (best method) and see if she had anything to do with it, if she says any smart comment that could even remotely be linked to it you can take it to court and use the conversation as a form of self incrimination.

Those will prob. buff out.
If you get it repaired through the insurance company (and they dont buff out), they wont repaint the entire pannel. They will just respray the area that was scratched.

Jeff!!!! You beat me to the punch on the metal/fiberglass comment... Eh she was cool when she wanted to be... Which happened to be rarely. Lol. Either way you should meet and see the new gf.... Hands down way better in every way... Haha. I'm gonna just go ahead and give the car a good buff with the porter cable and seal it with some Blackfire. Should look pretty damn good when I'm done with her. I'll post up pics on the outcome of the detail. Maybe Friday or sat, it's supposed to keep raining through wed. Thanks for all the responses guys. I'm pretty sure it was the ex who did it, but either way I'll be correcting the scratches and making this thing shine!!!!!!

But on a serious note, I'm sorry to hear about your horrible luck. I'm sure it's too late but you could have always tried to dust for fingerprints as well? That might sound dumb and some of you might be rolling your eyes but it could be possible that she was dumb enough to lean on it or look in the window.

Dude! That sucks to see!! Some of it looks fixable, but there are some spots in those pictures that are probably beyond what could be reasonably buffed out. Probably best course of action is to polish all of it and see where it gets ya... after that look into repair of the areas that don't buff out.
