Lol, thanks. It runs good for some "cam only" junk.

The hood is an aftermarket piece from VFN. They're a sponsor on here and usually have some great deals. It would be WAY cheaper to just purchase a hood from them.

Looks awesome man. How long did you wait to paint the hood after you got it?

I bought the hood last summer. So about 6-8 months wait time before I painted it. I could've panited it sooner but just didn't have the time.

Looks great. I wish they would make a 3" version of the LT1 SS hood. They make a 3" SS hood like yours to fit the LT1's, but it's the LS1 style scoop which is not as wide towards the rear. I like your hood alot.... I just think it belongs on the 98+ while the 97- should get the other one.

I found this thread while searching for pics of your 295 / 45 - 17's. I've looked for awhile now through old posts of yours and even have a thread asking for pics and info from anyone, but no luck so far. If you can send me a link to them or post them for me, I would really appreciate it.

Thanks, I've got my 295s mounted on my 17x11s but haven't got a chance to put them on the car yet. I'm hoping to find some time in the next week or so to put them on the car. I'll be sure to post some pics when I do.
