can I polish or chrome all BMR suspension parts???
They come in powerder coated, but I would like to throw around the idea of polishing them or chroming them, from that place Steve2000SS offered, West Coast Choppers, is this possible? I know it would be mad cash, but oh well...

You might want to look at getting them
coated like the Jet-Hot headers instead,
unless you want that ultimate shine and
a lifelong polishing job. Chrome doesn't
stay pretty, in a few weeks of road spray
it'll look as bad as Jet-Hot if you don't
polish. Its wear resistance is probably
better buts its chemical resistance, worse.
Food for thought.
You used to see chrome headers but not
anymore; why?

You dont see chrome headers anymore because now there is an alternative.. back in the day it was either paint or chrome.. then came "aluminized" headers and now we have "jethot" type coatings.. besides Chrome will rainbow under the heat of headers
I really dont see polishing BMR parts since I dont think they are aluminum.. They wouldnt need to be sandblasted either. Chrome shops know how to remove powder paint (a special acid). The main thing would be to remove all the various bushings before you sent them into the shop. My chrome shop only charged me $75 to chrome my Hotchkis STB (should be done today.. hope I like the results )
If you willing to maintain chromed suspension then go for it.. nothing looks cleaner, thats for sure..
