I found the ad (May 2003 Super Chevy, pg 109)
and it's actually 16" and 17", they didn't mention 18s. They advertise 16x7, 16x8, 17x8
and 17x9 in the SS style. You could go
"bigs -n- littles", fats and skinnies and
end up looking pretty nice.

And one good thing is, you can probably find a
pair of crusty old fat 15" SSs for your drag
tires real cheap, that match

I really like the look of the RR10's. The Boyds Dictator reminds of a wheel that everyone would do or consider. The RR10's don't. No one that i can think of is really using a road race type of wheel on there ProTour car. It would be a different look that not many people have considered at all.

Out of the 4 18" wheels you posted, I think the Fikses and Budniks look the best. (maybe the fikses look so good because that car is badass!) I don't think the other two look as good, kinda "fake" if you know what I mean. The pentia 5s look pretty nasty. I'd go for those if you didn't mind a 5 spoke. I think those wheels especially will look SICK with the 69 dropped 2 inches, I can only imagine If not those then the "Dictators" IMO that is another wheel that with a 2" drop and the amount the wheels are dished, will make the car stand out like crazy.
BTW I love the houndstooth seat idea. I saw a 69 SS in Popular Hot Rodding with Recaros and the middle of the seats had been replaced with houndstooth material, man did they look nasty

I am going to have to agree with the above statement though. In most cases the 18s look too big for the finder-wheel cutouts. With the fiskes in the pic above (my favorite) it looks good because of the large polished lip. If the wheel is not reversed with a good amount of lip I would stay away from an 18" and stick to the 17". Just IMHO. BTW in GT2 Ibuit a canary yellow 69 with black stripes and put black Fiske FM-10 style wheels on it. Looked pretty bad *** LoL.

The large wheels grab too much from the classic lines and chrome on the car.

Try a photoshop of something in a gunmetal or maybe even black.

I'd like to see a little more sidewall and something that looks more proportioned to the car.

I think the vintage rally wheels in a nice 17" would look nice. It's seems all these pics we're seeing are all the modern retro look. Stick with a classic look. Hey, you asked.

I just don't get it if you want something differn't why don't you build a Rod or custom?

To stick some cheezy hunks of aluminium on a classic Camaro should be a crime.

Is this car ff ed up or something? Like a bad restore or a bondo bucket? It looks good in the picture. The only thing I can see as very minor negative is that it's not a big block. Buy your self a 76 thur 80 Camaro and mod away you can only improve those Sh't Boxes

I should say that I do have color keyed Police wheels on my 70 Road Runner. I think I'm gonna go back to ralley road wheels this show season. A lot of people at the shows really bitch about my current wheels. I got it with keystones and that was bad look!!! I think stock is the way to go.

Well, to each their own I suppose. I think stock sucks. If I thought stock stuff was cool, I'd never have any fun with the cars I've owned and raced.

17" rally wheels do look very nice, but I'm looking for something more custom.

The stock wheels look great and all those 5 spokes look right at home on all the Cutlass and Regal hoopdees that ride around.

Have you looked at iforged?

A guy over at the vette forum had some good deals on these a while back. I think it was Nate@Extreme.
