Screaming Chicken
Was looking at the 1973-1975 firdbird decals that went on the back of the spoiler of those cars, and thought one might be interesting on the nose of my car. Did a photoshop, doubt if I have the porportions or size correct, but you get the general idea. Any thoughts?

Re: Screaming Chicken
Think I'm going to play around a bit and see how a hood size might look, when I look at the small one, I keep thinking the car looks like it has a mustache, lol.

Re: Screaming Chicken
I suggest trying a 1987 Screaming Chicken (small) decal. It is a clean outline and I think it would look good on your hood without being "too much". I have one between the ram air scoops on my hood (check sig.) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
EDIT: I think a full-size hood bird from '87 would look awesome. I just worry about getting the decal to lay down properly without any wrinkles on the compound curve of the hood. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />
-Bradster <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Re: Screaming Chicken
Selfish TTT,
Was hoping for some feedback, like looks like ***, or ok, interesting etc, I don't think I have ever seen a 3rd gen or 4th gen with the large oem style 2nd gen fire chicken decal, prehaps there are very good reasons for this, lol.
Regards,

Re: Screaming Chicken
I think the bigger bird looks a LOT better! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />
OK, I give up--what does TTT mean??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Screaming Chicken
I absolutely love the screaming chickens of the 2nd gens and I have played with the idea for a very log time of getting a hood bird for my car, but I have never seen a 4th gen hoodbird that I liked.
In my opinion, it just doesn't fit. Maybe its because of the arched hood, or the lack of a shaker scoop, I dunno, I just think that theres other things you could do to your hood that would look better.

Re: Screaming Chicken
2nd Gen hood bird all the way, with the T-tops off and some Def Leppard in the CD player is the only way to go!
Seriously though, Maybe think about changing the color scheme a bit to better go with the white... maybe a Black bird with blue flame (?)
Just a thought.

Re: Screaming Chicken
That would look good on my 79 bird. I would go with the bird of prey grafics that run down the sides of the car. <img border="0" alt="[cheers]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_cheers.gif" />
