interior colors, Black, Gray, ebony, What year have what? I have a 98 WS6 Ta, and the interior is a mdeium gray, not sure exact color.
My friends 2000 Firebird is a darker color, but its still not black.
I hear people talking about the 2002's being black, and some of the pics look almost black, when did the ebony (black?) interior start?

Re: interior colors, Black, Gray, ebony, What year have what? They offer like 3 colors that I know of. I'm not sure the actual names. One is charcoal (the almost black one), grey, and ebony and of course the mix-matched **** like what I have....
I have a 98 T/A and I have that stupid medium charcoal crap. The top of the dash, the center console and the steering column are the only things that are black. <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> My seats and plastic parts are taupe. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> <img border="0" alt="[barf]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_barf.gif" />
I checked with a dealership and they said that the ebony (black) interior came out in '00. I'm actually buying a whole new interior for my car. From the dealership it would be over $1500.00, but on www.gmpartsdirect.com you can save yourself 40-45%. I'm going to have to replace ALL the plastic (hatch, backseat and doors), the dash (2 pieces and very $$$) the carpet, seats (recovering them I'm sure) I can install everything else except the dash. I aint messing with that. I'm sure I'll spend about $1200.00 when all is said and done.
It's a pretty penny and a lil time consuming but WELL worth it!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
