Blue Hose for KN FIPK WHERE DO I GET IT???

Yep, Poltergeist (Rob) took Baker the standard FIPK hose and they made a mold.. now they are available in Red (what I have).. Blue and most likely black.

Looks nice when combined with a matching TB hose.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" /> See my sig for pics of the red..

Call Baker and tell them you want the "FIPK hose". If you also want the hose to replace the accordian hose tell them you want a "Camaro hose". Neither one is listed on their site.

Ok now guys, I like the looks of the Baker FIPK hose when I saw it on Steve's car but Red is not my accent color. I was turned off when I saw Poltergeist's (Sorry Rob) as the blue color looks too pale or light colored for my tase. The blue hose in Dar Age's pic looks much darker. If Robs were closer to the shade of blue that is on his motor plates I would be interested in that.

I do realise that for some reason pics of blue under hood items never seem to look that same as they do in person. Now which pic above is more accurate? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Ive seen Robs and the one in his pic looks lighter than it does in person.. its actually a nice blue <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Keep in mind.. these are silicone hoses (very high quality).. over time (a long time) they might fade a little due to the engine enviroment.. just something to keep in mind. Im very happy with my Baker hoses.. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

Baker used the hose that I got with my FIPK to make the mold for these hoses. No cutting or trimming is needed for it to fit.

SS LS1 - my hose is a little darker then the one in Al's picture. If you look at my picture you can see the how the sun is washing the picture out. It's not as dark as my engine plates but much darker then it looks in the picture.

Thanks for the color info on the Baker Blue FIPK hose. I am glad to hear it is darker in person that it appears in Rob's photos. I might just have to get one for my FIPK as my accent color is Blue anyway. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

On a side note for both Rob and Steve, your engine compartments both look very nice but I have always wondered why neither of you have rotated you MAF 90` clockwise so the electrical connectin box and wires would be located under the MAF and not to the drivers side? IMO it looks much cleaner and I know how you guys are about cleaning up the under hood appearance. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />
