I weighed my stock SS hood today. This weight is with the front latches and the 4 rear bolts still on the hood. It weighed in at 51 lbs.

There are pics of my new fibgerglass bolt on/ pin on SS hood in my web page. It is non functional. It weighs about 15 lbs or less.

Do you have any idea how much the actual latch mechanism weighs? I took mine off <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

take a look at the page. it says USEXOTICS ss hood. I'm guessing that USEXOTICS makes it.
