X2. I had the hose mod done to mine and the front a little bit lower (about the same or a little lower than Sportlines), but I'd scrape on most asphalt to concrete bridge transitions on the freeway, any and all debris on the road, and that's aside from the scraping everywhere else that happens at the current ride height... That sucked.

How do you like your GC kit? I've been thinking about switching to a GC/Koni DA setup next.

Yes, they have different rebound/bump rates but unfortunately no shock company really advertises their rates, there are some shock dyno comparisons out there if you can read/understand them. This is another benefit from calling Sam Strano, he custom valved shocks himself so he knows a thing or two about how the different brands work vs others for our cars.

So i want to stay away from the adjustable shocks then?
No, adjustable is good IMO. You want to stay away from non-gas charged drag shocks like QA1, Afco, Strange, etc if you want a car that can drive well on the street and do more than just go strait.

They definitely have more rebound, and feel like they have a little less compression (so the ride is more firm, but less jarring, it reminds me of a german sports sedan, very planted and controlled but not uncomfortable).
You should also definitely check out what your rear bump stops look like and see if they are trashed, that will cause the ride to be worse when you hit them hard on bigger bumps. Ideally you could ditch the rear eibachs for something a little higher.

agreed 110%. Kinda hard to pull a good 60ft or even make a tight turn for that matter when your tires rub the fender and your wheel width is greater than your tire width.
I mean, I guess if your rockin a box-o-scion with a "mean" 100hp, those words, 60ft and turn dont have any relevance to you but for muscle cars, this IS the way "stance" is produced. If you want "hella flush" rides, well then speedhunters.com is only a click away...

some good lookin rides in here btw, keep um comin!

I have nothing against the hellaflush scene and I like some of them, but fbodys dont have the right body shape to pull off that look they would look too weird.

I like it, I never really adjust it or anything but it makes swapping shocks really easy (just lower the adjuster until there's no pressure on the spring) and it gives a huge selection of springs

Stance is a morpheme meaning stand, used in several ways:
to take a position in an argument, a stand on a given issue;
refers to a particular standing posture
straight from the dictionary.....so every car has a stance.
everybody's car on her looks sick in every stance. and im sure the region and what roads you drive on can change the way you stance your car.

Compared to the factory springs that came off, they're awesome. Firm, but not harsh and without that 'floaty' feeling you get with other springs
