Default side molding

what is a good way on removing the side molding off the door, and then re applying it to another on. and i know you'll ask why reapply it, why not leave leave it off, well car is a daily driver and it does prevent dents.

Get a heat gun, a blow dryer will get it hot but not like a heat gun will, I removed mine in about an hour.

The rear quarters are what get dinged, not the doors. Just leave the moldings off, they don't protect the rear quarters from dings and they don't prevent nicks and scratches on the doors. You shouldn't be parking near other cars anyway since your car will get beat to **** with people scraping you pulling in and out of parking spots.

The molding sits so low, and since our cars almost bulge out a little above the molding, it doesn't protect from much. Most car doors are widest further up than the molding. So I really can't see how it prevents most dents.

Edit: Just noticed you have a camaro. I think the molding sits higher up on those, and looks way better than the T/A molding imo.

I used a heat gun and then some paint thinner to remove any adhesive/dirt left behind. Took me roughly an hour to remove everything.

There's a writeup somewhere on here that details a way of pulling the adhesive in larger strips by pulling it alongside the car. I'm on my phone so I can't really look it up atm, but it works wonders.
