For me it would be worth it to have a professional do it. I destroyed my window heater years ago while removing 6 year old tint that was bubbling off the back window. Took me many hours trying to be careful and I still screwed it up.

Thread revival ...just removed my window tint from factory with tint film remover (ammonia and dionized water) and some trash bags... took like an hour and no damaging the defrosters. look up wiki how to remove tint and read about ammonia and trash bags really easy i got the remover from advanced auto and it came with a scraper but i didnt use it. good luck to all
