Default HID Headlight Company

Anyone know of a reputable company I could order HID headlights for my father’s 01 Silverado? I’m truly looking for a company that has been around for a while or you may have had experience with. Any input would be great, a sponsor or not doesn’t matter if the product is good quality and the experience was good as well. If it is a non sponsor please PM the company name to me as I don’t want to get anyone in trouble for posting up a non sponsor in the thread.

Thanks in advance,
Braden

I'd say DDM for better quality than some kit that you can get from ebay and they are crappy and don't last that long. If you're going for the cheapest then I'd say ebay. I prefer ddmtuning, but thats just me...

Here, I did the work for you if you decide to go with ddm. Just click on the link below and it'll take you where you need to go. Just fill in what you need in the drop boxes on the right side of the page. I'd go with 35w 6000K kit, Camaro's use a 9006/HB4 bulb. Bright as hell, with the color you'll like, just a hint of blue.

Have this kit for my lows and fogs in my SS, take a look...

i had a set of the DDM tuning 6000K slim ballast on my 2005 Silverado. very easy to install. the kit coes with double sided tape to mount hte ballast with. i mounted mine the a plastic part of the core support, right behind the grill on wither side. the wires from the ballast are kind of short, so plan out your install first.

i still have mine from the truck....i took them off when i traded it in on my Camaro a year ago.

i'm thinking about installing them on my camaro, because they use the same 9006 bulbs.

That looks REAL nice, and it's my same car and color too so perfect example. I def need to get the fogs too to match.

Haven't read up on it too much and don't have any personal experience. I did save a few threads I read and it seems they've been accused of quite a few things. One of which advertising 7 temps when they only order 4...

https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...ng-issues.html

Again, I've never dealt with them and have heard plenty of people satisfied with them, but these threads make me wonder. I also have 3+ years on my ebay kit. Good luck with whatever route you choose.

I think the ebay one's would do just fine. As long as they're 6000k's, don't need them to be the BEST in the market. And I'm pretty sure the ebay one's look WAY better then my stock *** yellow bulbs

For those of you who have DDM, is your headlight housing assembly really clean and clear? or did you get a different housing then put the DDM's in? Also do these produce the cutoff line or do they just all out blast everywhere?
Sorry to intrude on your thread KeysZ28.

I've got DDMs kit in my low beams and fog lights... light output is all going to depend on your housing. I'm running stock headlights, so there's really not much of a cutoff, and there won't really be much of one unless you go with projectors.

Regardless, DDM FTMFW, lifetime warranty and good price....
