Yeh, I have HID's in my fog lights, I updated the housings and was going to make some brackets to mount projectors in there, but I don't think the light output with the cutoff would work well, so I just angled my fog lights to light the ground directly in front of the car, so I wasn't blinding anyone.

The HID's and halogens look stupid together, I hated it. It really makes your halogens look yellow..

great idea and good work...i was looking a while back to see if anyone made these for our birds. you could prob sell them here.

an idea i think would be cool is if the bracket matched the color of the vehicle. black is good but imagine yours in white or mine in green. i think it would be cleaner and have that "from the factory" look.

Appreciate the plug.

The setup came out nice and good call on the heavy duty paint to avoid the stone chips/debris from making it to through to the aluminum. Is the second pic only with one projector? There is only one step in the pic but due to the size of the step, you must be really far back lol.

I would open up the step width between the projectors a bit and if you are not sure where to start, try and find a vehicle with good projectors and mark off where everything should be on a wall.

Only way to make it better would be to use projectors. I find HIDs in fog lights stick out a bit much for my taste but I know a lot of people here use them. It's all personal taste but whenever I see someone on the road with them, I think of it as a cop magnet due to how much attention it draws to the car. Mounting a projector in the fog light area would not be very difficult but the aesthetics would look funky with a 2.5" projector in a roughly 4" diameter hole. Some reflector housings are better than others but in most cases, you will get glare with the HID lamps.

No sweat on the plug, you have a very nice kit.

Yeh, I think the picture you are referencing was before I had aimed them correctly. It's both projectors, I just matched them up. Here is a more recent video.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E8BMC...el_video_title

Here's another video that shows the cutoff pretty well on the trees that line both sides of the street.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOtR5...el_video_title

I got some time last night to go out aim them properly. The whole park against a wall, use the tape draw a line, then mark the verticals back up 25 feet and aim 2" right and 2" low. Looks much better..

You can move the drivers side step over to the left a little bit to get you some additional beam width. Maybe its just the angle from the video. I include a pretty good adjustment guide with our kits if you would like to see it.

Wow doesn't look bad at all!

I like the look of the HIDs!
Have you ever had a chance to look at LED Switchbacks? I think it would add that "white" light look,, check it out.

Just personal opinion
Looks good nonetheless!

They look good I just wish the beam pattern was wider. Because of my pickiness I will end up having to go through the extra trouble of sealing bi-xenons lol

I'll have to check them out.. I just replaced the plugs on my housings this summer and I'm still blowing bulbs, these stock units really, really suck.
