Default Question about these halo headlights.

Has anyone taken these apart? If so, did the manufacturer cut any holes in the housing to mount the black cover or halo?

I think some people have gotten those, took them apart and took the black section out and had stock looking head lights.

I have. the halo is attached to the black plastic. it is glued onto the headlight. the only hole that is drilled to the headlight is the one to pass the wires of the halo to the back of the headlight.

are you trying to get them as a replacement to your oem headlights?

ill et you a pick to see how it is assembled.

this is correct. same thing as oem. minus the small hole where the halo wires run.

That's what I thought but wasn't 100% though.

Thanks for the info! Yes I found a good deal for these headlights and I knew they're stock inside, just wasn't sure on holes and what not. PLEASE post a pic of the drilled hole! I'm going to turn these into whistlers with my own custom touch, it's going to be bad *** and 1 of a kind, I can't wait. I'll be sure to post pics when I finish them up. 3 weeks I'm expecting I'll have the parts and put it together. I can probably fill the hole with black RTV or something..
