Default Time for Change, Opinions in here

OK guys, its time for the SS to go through a little change. Im the kinda person that has be diff. from everyone else. I have seen 3 cars set up like mine now (not saying i created the look or anyhting along those lines) and 2 of them live by me! So time for some change.

Heres the plan: Powdercoat my 17x9/17x11 ZR1's black with a polished lip (can get it done cheap), take the silver hoodstripe off and put a Black stripe (same one) in its place, and do a few other small things to swap the silver to black.

I think it will give it a sort of stealth look, and will look pretty clean. I know there are very few people who have combined the NBM/Black look so thats what i wanted to do. what do you guys think?

Disregard the silver pinstripe.

I currently have black 30th stripes on my NBMss. I get compliments all the time. I don't know about black wheels on a NBM car, though.

Ditto, I have the black hockey stripes on mine, there not that noticable at first but when people atually see them they compliment me on them all the time. i'll be doing the same thing w/ the hood as soon as i get the money to paint the stripes on the car.
your car is going to sweet w/ that done to your car. I've always liked subtle accents over loud accents.

I really like the stealth look that it would have. It can also be done for fairly cheap thanks for the opinions guys

I like black wheels. I thought about them myself. Just looks good, especially with a polished or machined lip. Not for everyone though, so don't expect everyone to like them, but so long as you do. Go for it!

Oh, by the way, it looks like you have Fikse FM5's in that picture in your sig, do you still have those?

I like the stealth look...I have a Black WS6 with black Z06 rims with a machined/polished lip...it looks badass and is very "under the radar" at nite time.

It's hard to say whether or not I would like it without actually seeing it in person. I say go for it Daniel.

I think it will change the look signifigantly...

Your car is so clean right now. The only way you get my thumbs up is if the powdercoating is glossy. If wheels are flat black they look dirty ALL the time IMO. But, yes, i think it will look great!

I really think the 'sig version' of your car looks great. I don't blame you for wanting change tho, I've changed my rims every year since I bought the car
