Fits the Trans Am.
Doesn't fit the high rise spoiler.

Well what the heck, either it does, or it doesn't!

I hope you all do realize that the on-car pictures seen in the majority (if not all) of the ads like those posted in this thread are (horrible) photoshops...

Could this light (the one for low rise wings) be mod to fit the high rise wing? It seems its pretty similar except for the top part.

This is no surprise, seems most parts on ebay are like that. I don't know why they can't get a real pic, or at least do a decent photoshopped pic.

No doubt... However... It does show a Trans Am 3rd light in the one I bought for the product picture.

I doubt it.. Even if, I don't know if it would be worth the trouble. Maybe post up in body/paint work?

That actually is correct. The '93 and '94 Trans Ams did come with the low-rise spoiler.

I'd definitely have to see it on one of your cars. Looks a little ricey in the ads...

The one I linked to originally that I said I bought IS THE CORRECT light for a 93-02 Trans Am HIGH RISE spoiler!

CORRECT for TRANS AM HIGH RISE spoiler: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1998-...item3f0d4d66fa

I will take apologies from anyone that called me stupid for doing it as well as, "You were right, I was wrong... They didn't know what they were selling".
My paypal is also open for donations from anyone that has been waiting as eagerly as I have for them to start selling these again.

I also visitor messaged some of you guys that wanted them.
Give me a min, I'm going to throw it on the car real quick and I'll snap a pic.

Would of sworn that was going to be for the the wrong wing.

"You were right, I was wrong... They didn't know what they were selling" I'm only apologizing b/c I'm happy they still make it.

Let me guess, I was dumb enough to buy this and I'm too dumb to tell the difference between the two, right?

I have pics uploading... I can't get you guys any pics of it with the lights on because I don't have a battery in my car at the moment but you can see it installed at least.

I definitely HIGHLY suggest going with smoked. I actually wish this one was just a tad darker and I don't like "blacked out" lights. The actual spot where the bulbs are doesn't have much "smoke" to it at all, I think it will be just as bright as the "black/no smoke" light.

No problem my man!

I actually am going to consider going a TAD darker with the smoke. I will have to wait until I have the car running again and get to see it for a few days and of course see it on.
But right now, I am planning on it.. Or at least the top section of it... You can kind of see the "board" that the LEDs are connected to. Only part of it that looks somewhat cheap.

Also, mine fits extremely close to OEM fitment. It isn't perfect but it isn't anything anybody would ever notice. I am picky about that kind of stuff.

So what's the deal with the black one? They no longer make it, or the smoked is just better...how?

I have no idea if the black is available for the high rise, I would assume yes but I'm not ordering another one!
on the "black/no smoke" you can really see the wires/LEDs from the top, makes it look very cheap.

The smoke makes those much less visible. I wouldn't say "better", just in my personal opinion it is more aesthetically pleasing.
