Where in OKC are you? I think I've seen the car around (not too many WS6's around here anymore).

I say go with Zaino its real easy to use. You won't find it in the stores but you can order online. You really can't go wrong with Zaino, Adams, or meguires. Just make sure you claybar the car, it helps a lot.

Thats the thing about Adams people. I know a lot of people who started detailing and their first products that they used were Adams. So a lot of the people that rave about their products, have not tried anything else so they don't have anything to compare it to.
I personally worked with another detailer on some cars and he uses "Adams and Adams only" and I was less than impressed. From now on I use my stuff.
I don't think one company makes all the best products. I'm not knocking them and I am sure they have a few good products, but the reason I use the things I use is because of the reviews and I have spent a lot of money testing several products. I stick with what works best for me.
Also I refuse to pay the crazy prices for the small bottle of any kind of cleaner of theirs. I would much rather buy a product that works the same, if not better and get much more quantity for half the price.
And like I said. I have tried to talk some adams people into using some products that work unbelievable and they refuse to even try it because it's not adams.

Again, a lot of you guys are cocky a**holes.
If anyone doesn't believe me go on their forum, talk about using adams products and then mention another product you used. YOu will probably get banned.

Have you ever used a clay-bar on the body, the clay bar will smooth out any of the scratches, it will make it look amazing

Wow....thats about the most extreme recommendation for making your car look good that I've ever heard. Especially with such a lack of info.

Please OP, do NOT do this.

I love Chip, but TheSilverOne has a point. And I believe Mothers is currently sponsoring him.

No, a blanket statement of blind loyalty without reasoning or application pertinent to the issue the OP inquired about is what made your statement/suggestion naive.

Don't waste your time with a "High Speed Polisher" unless its a rotary or Porter Cable. Those store bought ones are basically useless.

Seeing as he is one of the best builders in the custom car industry, a LOT of people do. Probably why Mothers pays him to endorse their products. The guy is talented and a success, no need to treat him like that.

And yes, Adams IS better than the OTC stuff, I don't think anyone was debating that. But its not the best pro-level stuff. It is good. I have and regularly use a few of their products, but its not ALL I use.

I'm not bashing on Adams at all. They have unbelievable cust. service and are helpful on the forums and make good products, but I have encountered that attitude from some of their customers.

Zaino isn't OTC. And again, Adams is better than OTC, IMO.

Claybar will smooth out the paint by removing built up contaminants, but it doesn't smooth out scratches.

And with that I'm done with this thread for tonight.

You mean opinions? Thats fine. But your original blanket statement didn't paint it in that light. If you tried some other PRO products, you might be more impressed. What's there to lose?
