Use a 3 gauge pillar pod, lay it horizontally so the gauges sit above the radio bezel like they do in the viper.
Remove your stereo and put gauges there.
Run the speakers off a 4-5ch amp in the hatch and run a amp remote , aux input port to the
dash (this is what I plan on doing).
You can take the amp out on track days.
I don't know much about FI, but see if you can use the scanguage OBDII gauge. It shows tons of data. Again, I'm not sure if you need to see all 3 of your gauges data all at once...

dynotune makes these nifty little square digital gauges. fit perfectly inside the factory gauge cluster. you just need to make a little 1/2" 90 degree braket to mount. I have my Wideband done this way. Thinking of puttng another on the right hand side of cluster. You can still see the other gauges behind it when mounted.

This looks pretty cool IMO.
Keeps the vents functional and you can throw a LED strip back there so it works as your shift light (if you are m6?).
