New 6LE Grille we are working on...
...I wanted a grille like the Sunoco Camaro...
...but it didn't totally translate when I tried to get it made out of metal...
My fault as I don't think I explained myself well enough. Either way I decided instead to make a 1970 style grille for our cars...
SO, myself, Gil and Christian just decided to make one at Gil's house the other day so I can take it in and be like, "THIS is what I want to replicate..."...
Thoughts before I move forward?

I like it.
It has more character than a standard billet grille that everyone else has, IMO.
What're the dimensions of the rectangles? By the looks of it, I think it could be more rectangular.
Hell, I like the original you had made by the other guys. Have that point come out to meet the splitter and we can mow down pedestrians!
I really do like that original though... How much?
Also, will these be billet or plastic?

Happen to have an ballpark on the pricing? I'd be glad to rep it around town. Perhaps get some people interested in it. Might have a different following than you West-Coasters.
Anywho, perhaps the reason it doesn't look as great as the original could be due to the bumper difference? I wish I could get a hold of a sunoco bumper.

The flat black, although it may be the color and angle, appears to be a bit more shallow.
When it was placed on their stock test bumper with the splitter, it seems a bit out of place.
But than again, it may just be the angles and colors.

It's not terrible but I'm not feeling it either.
Different grille options are nice as opposed to just a billet grille or SLP grille.
What about a grille that's molded to fill in the entire grille area flush with the bumper, with just maybe a bowtie or SS emblem? Not sure how that would look but haven't seen one like that yet. It seems every grille leaves both hole openings visible. Something to cover up, incorporate or work with those grille hole openings would be different.
I guess what I'm saying is something like an SLP grille, but different if that makes sense. The RK sport grille comes to mind but something different besides the mesh.

I needs to sit farther back into the bumper as others have said. Plus the front bumper on our cars isn't quite as sharp on the angles as that grille, which makes it look out of place

I don't like that you can see so much of the bumper behind the grill. I understand that is where the mounting points are located but if our cars didn't just have bumper reinforcement behind there I would cut out the bumper and replace it with the grill.
