I CAN'T WAIT ANY LONGER!!! Do these ones from Sears appear to be the exact same kind? Or are they only half whilstered?

Like I told WhiteKnight in a PM, the picture for the Sears link is the same as the black bezel (i.e. whistler) set on Amazon. The picture on amazon shows half-whistler, but when my set was delivered it was full-whistler.

The only thing that would have me a little hesitant about the sears link is that they title them as Euro headlights. I'm like 90% sure they're the same Depo lights as everyone else, but I can't say with absolute certainty.

They're all drop shipped. No one has probably ordered from sears yet. Well, when you do, there is a very high probability they tell you they were recalled as well.

I'm going to order them tomorrow. $140 is a bargain price.

What exactly were they recalled for?

i ordered them last night and i got call from the supplier (not sears) and said that the last batch have been recalled. HOWEVER a new batch will be available next friday to ship. so its all good.

i received an email with the explantion and information about the whole process. these ppl are legit.

ALSO, I contacted depot on ebay and they said the same thing, they will receive a new batch in the next few weeks to sell on ebay and amazon.

Just a quick question, does anyone where/if I can get the OEM clear replacement headlights from Depo? I looked on amazon/ebay and I see they have the whistler headlights but can't seem to find the OEM, anyone know where to get them from?

I don't think depo makes them that way. TYC does however.

I saw that name come up on the search I did yesterday, any idea if those are any good? Kind of bummed that Depo doesn't have the OEM style, I want some lights that will fit/look just like my stockers, just a whole lot cleaner.

TYC is a nicer headlight but they use a pedestal to mount the low beam shield on.

That's completely cool, only thing that truly concerns me is the fitment.

Picture of my car after I installed the Depo headlights I purchased from Sears. $130 for the set. My visibility at night has increased since these are far clearer than my old hazed out stock ones. Only problem is fitment. They fit in there fine, but I can't seem to get rid of the gap between the headlamp and bumper, it's like a 1/4 to 1/2 an inch in some spots, but you have to be close to the car to notice it.

Yeah...good fit with no big gaps or proper alignment of the headlights...choose one.

When I installed mine they looked great and fit really well and I was thrilled until I went to adjust them so I could actually use the headlights and I kept thinking...what the f**k is there really going to be this big of a gap? ugh

My stock headlights had a gap too.

Check the center lower post. It is only a pivot point, but I know on some aftermarket assemblies it has a screw head that you can unscrew about 1/4 to push the headlight outward a bit. Then realign the headlights again and see if that closes up the gap. I'm not sure if the DEPO lights have that screw or just a pressed in post.

I swapped mine to the stock headlight mounts and they lined up a 1000x better. Look good and are aligned close. Still dialing it in a little. No bigger gap then I remember stock.

Kinda stupid, but I never even thought that the stock housing assembly would be any different. I think I might have thrown those out...damn.
