I ordered the harness just to be safe

Are you guys running the 35w or 55w kits and how do you like each?

I'm 35w 6k on both. Couldn't be happier with them.

35w in the fogs

55w in the lows

Honestly, 55w is overkill... They are STUPID bright, and I don't even have my projectors yet. I think all factory HID equipped cars have 35W.
If I didn't have to worry about the housing melting in the TA fogs, I would have got 55w in those too.

I recommend either doing 35w or 55w in both, so the color matches. Mine are pretty close but not perfect.
Either one will be an unreal improvement over stock. You will be amazed.

eh, I'd have to check to be sure. My low beams are an older kit, but my fogs are DDM, the slim ones. Both are 35w, 6000k. 5000k bulbs for my lows will be here tomorrow, going for a little less blue...

Yeah the 6000k 55w on my old car was like pure blue almost. Every time I call they bullshit like they don't want to be honest about the bulb color for some reason. I said I want PURE WHITE with maybe the slightest hint of blue and they said 6000k which were straight baby blue.

Hopefully the new 5000k 55w kit is more crispy white

6k is no where near pure white..5k is close. pure white is 4000-4500.

By their self with no other lights to compare, they look white.. compare it to other hids or halogens on the road, very blue.

I did 8k in my lows because I did 55w and thy said the higher watt would wash some of the color out, my lows are way more blue than my 35 w 6k fogs. Soon to be fixed with my hella projectors however!!

My question is, how do you run both sets with 4 ballasts total on 1 car?
You install them.

Simple. They're all plug n' play,

Here's my setup - HID lows and HID fogs.

Ballast location for Lowbeam HIDs

Ballast location for foglight HIDs

No projectors that size.. won't work for us, will look way funny.

Why do you want 55w in the fogs so bad?

35w will give enough light lows wouldnt be needed. I wouldnt recommend it however because they are so low to the ground distance is limited.

I drove around the first 3 or so nights with 35w 6k because my lows weren't here yet. Passed several cops, not once did I get stopped.

Even though it is slightly off, naked eye won't catch it usually.35w and 55w 6k will be extremely close.

All you do for the relay is plug in the connectors and ground it, it's real easy. The hardest part about the whole thing is tucking the giant mess of wires and getting them to look good!
