Default How do you run 2 HID kits on 1 car? (lows and fogs)

I've got my HID's picked out and ready to order, I'm going with 5000k 9006 lows and 5000k 880 for the fogs.

My question is, how do you run both sets with 4 ballasts total on 1 car?

Once you have it sitting in front of you, you will understand that there is only one way.

Everything is plug and play...

I'm doing a retrofit projector right now.. I'm selling my eurolight housings, needed with trans am with hids as well as my low beam hid bulbs. If interested shoot me a pm.. All you would need to complete the setup you want is ballasts for the lows and a 880 hid kit for the lows.

Its very easy, the ballast are decently small, just have to find a place to mount them which should be easy

exactly right. hids are one of the best mods you can do to a bird. i just wish i could see your face when you open up you hid packaging box and see all the damn wires everywhere. youll be like WTF did i get myself into. but once you start installing it on your car it will all make sence. enjoy

You might need a relay harness too.

How do you guys know the OP has a Trans Am lol? But if your running more then one set of HIDs, you will need a relay harness; don't have too, but recommended.

Yeah I have a Camaro.. sorry lol

I just didn't know if it was as simple as installing the two kits or if I needed something special to be able to power them both properly, I've only ever had a car with 1 HID kit.

I can't wait to get these. I went with DDMtuning, always had good kits from them and their prices are retarded cheap. I just outfitted both my cars, my 96 Roadmaster with low/high and my 93 Camaro with lows and fogs for like $140 shipped. With a lifetime warranty

Let me know what you decide to do for the fogs cause I really want HID fogs (I only have HID heads) but I want to avoid using the relay harness and heard you need it if you have two sets.

Definitely recommend the harness. I also got my kits from ddmtuning. Never any trouble with the lows but the fogs would flicker at first and at times, only one would end up on. The harness is easy to install. It already comes with an in-line fuse and only requires you to tie into a power and find a ground. Everything else is plug and play. Hope you enjoy your setup.

He could be using the 9006 bulbs if he is getting the LMC truck housings, those are the ones that i am using in my car right now. they have the little center cone in it so it doesnt put out as much glare.
