What's a girl to do? Hello fellow racers! I just bought me a 2002 Trans Am WS6 w/ Ram Air and I need desperate help.....I want my gorgeous silver body (not MY body, the car) to stick out in Dallas/Ft.Worth ABOVE ALL THE REST (boy's rides included!). What mods. inside/out would be my best bet to get me started???

Appearance wise, I would start off by removing the side molding (door trim) and the Trans am lettering on the doors. It will give your car a much smoother, sleeker look! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Also look into getting the collectors edition's rear center tail light panel. The lettering and "bird" are in silver. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" /> Then look into some new wheels. 17x9.5 or 18x9.5 in the front and 17x11 or 18x10 in the rear. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="gr_images/icons/cool.gif" />

Re: What's a girl to do? Subtle stuff goes a lonnnnng way. Ghost flames, clear corners, debadge. Those are all great. Carbon Fiber dash kits from exoticwooddash.com is a great place to start on the interior. Also colored center sections of your stock seats add a huge amount of flair.

YES I'm interested in idea's for engine mods. (the only thing I've done so far is put a cut out on my exhaust....very cheap, very simple, sounds nice....but I want LOUDER and MEANER). I have a K&N filter order...waiting for a few more paychecks to pick up the more expensive buys like CAMS and Headers.
YES, I'm interested in ways to change the look of the body without going OVERBOARD....and without dropping loads of $$ into the body.

Re: What's a girl to do? I own a silver WS6 Formula...appearance-wise I've kept mine pretty low key, but have done some things to make it look different...
The 'mula is lowered 2", dark tint, black lettering on the "Formula", removed the bird on the center piece of the tailights, rear blackouts, and chrome exhaust tips.
A while back I had the windows tinted with the mirror tint and it looked awesome!! Unfortunately, I must have gotten the cheap stuff because it turned kinda yellowish...removed and replaced with limo tint. A roll bar, 2 12" subs, and a 15lb nitrous bottle on the inside will have people looking twice <img border="0" alt="[driving]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_driving3.gif" />

Re: What's a girl to do? Well you can loose the Trans AM lettering on the doors, or you can go to GM and buy new colored ones, like to match your wheels or calipers. Def, lose the side molding(those strips) I am going to buy silver ones to match my wheels an paint my calipers red...Dark Tint makes a huge difference, screw legal stuff make it look good, and do it on all the windows. Drop it, get suspension. I have mine dropped about 2 inches, with full BMR components. The cut out sounds good now, but get headers and itll sound MEAN with the cut out open. Interior stuff, here is all I've done so far. Ya i know the NX isnt hooked up yet. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> My T/A Ill post pics with the calipers painted and the new lettering. go to fbodyaudio.com and 4th gen enclosures to shop around for something to hold your subs. (I like the milhouse box) I made mine myself, and now that i've seen their enclosures i wouldve bought one of theirs. The two biggest things you can do to make the external apperance of your car "stand out" is wheels and some sort of graphic (ie. stripes).. Everything else is minor.. of course a lot of minor mods will add up but wheels and paint (or vinal) is the fastest way to be noticed <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
