On the Mad Racing site, they're about 250 dollars cheaper? If you're talking about the leather ones, so I'm confused.

You're looking at the wrong seats... The MRC seats are our BASIC seats...

http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...roducts_id=270

The frame on these (MRC/BASIC) is NOT good for racing (any seat with a quick release is frowned upon as a weak point in safety in real racing) so our 6LE seats (the more expensive ones) have the sturdier frame underneath, lack the quick release and cost more...

http://6litereaterdesigns.com/store/...products_id=66

For a daily driver I'd recommend our MRC/Basic seats...

Does that mean the more expensive version doesn't flip forward?

Okay, that clears it up a lot. Sorry if I offended in anyway. I may have to pick me up a set of those basic ones though.

Yup. Seems backwards I know but has to do with the sturdiness of the frame and passing inspection for certain race classes.

In my personal car I ran the cheaper BASIC/MRC seats just custom upholstered... Probably going to do the same in the Grand National.

Hey 6LE do you or does anyone have a picture of these seats in a car with a tan interior? I'm thinking of ordering a set but I'm not sure of the color match. I'd like to see how close the tan is to the tan interior. maybe there's a color sample 6LE can sent me?

i got the seats in my car... its the more expensive ones that 6LE sells. I got the 6LE adapter bracket and installed them with the rails that came with the seat. got a pic of them in the car... if I sit the seat up strait, the seat gets close to the roof and my head about hits it (Im 6'4).... but the seats are super comfy and hold you in well.

No I don't think I do... But if you look at the passenger seat you can kinda see how it's ran... I just went from where it comes out of the roof, unbolted it from the floor And ran it through the hole in the seat closest to the door. Doing it that way with the stock seat belt gives you a good cinch down in the seat once you buckle in and give it a yank. Im not a small guy at all and I can get in and buckle up with no problems at all

Maybe if you zoom in on this pic you can see how it goes through the seat...
