Default led lighting question

so i bought some strips of led lights. they are each 12" long strips. i wanna install them to where they come on with the interior lights like when the doors are open and when you turn them on with the switch. can someone tell me where the best place to wire these into would be... this is on a 01 z28 camaro

OP, just wire them into the door lights that way they will come on when you open the doors but go off when you close the door and the lights fade off. I myself will be doing this to to my car since you can't see crap in the floor at night since GM thought it would be a good idea to leave them out.

i understand that and i have led replacements in every spot where there are leds in the car. im not dumb. superbrightled's has about $100 worth of bulbs between 2 cars. but on the floor board of a f body... since u have one you should know... that it DOESNT have any kind of lighting on the floor board... thus the reason i want the strip lights. like i said. thanks... but no thanks

Hey man, no problem. It's a freaking pain for something to fall into the floor boards at night and it's something you need and there you are like WTF?, lol.

I tapped a line into the power source for the rear dome light. Lights come on and fade out like stock, AND can be turned on manually with the rotating ****. I ran the wire down and behind the side trim panel, along the driver side rocker panel trim and then under both front seats.

I always get great compliments on the UV look. People also trip out when then get near and they're wearing any type of light colored clothing...the glow, man.
