What do I need for painting calipers?
Alright, I have an idea of what I need, but I really need anybody's help on this if possible. I have a few tutorials on how to do the process, but what products do I need? So far I have 1 can or charcoal dupli color spray paint, and a dremel to smooth out the caliper. It is obvious I need to clean them also, what product could I use for that and where could I find it? Anything else I need? Please give me any info you can! Thanks a lot
Another quick question, I don't have the Trans Am caliper decal yet, should I wait till I have that, or could I prep and paint them now and add that later? What is best? Thanks a lot!

I used simple green to clean mine. I did three coats of black on mine, waiting 30 mintues between coats. On the final coat i waited alittle over an hour just to make sure it was dry, then i added the decal. Then i shot three coats of clear over the decal with the same drying interval as the black. Take your time and be sure to spray a good distance from the caliper so it doesn't run
Good luck,
Kenny

Use hig temperature paint. VHT makes the paint, they also have a kit available.
AfterThoughts Auto has it (the kit). They are a sponsor.
