Did these things change or something? I remember looking at them months ago and thinking they were hideous, now I think they look pretty decent.
My cheapo from eBay broke after like 200 miles, looks like I'll be picking up one of these.

Sorry to hijack but i didn't see the need to start a new thread. Just got my Bitviper antenna and thought i'd share some pics. If there was a swept back version of this i would of probably choose that but either way I'm very happy with this one. It's definitely a nice piece especially for the price. to Bitviper for make a nice product.
I think this is the redesign, if I remember right the old one had a inch tall base

I tried sending a pm to BitViper but didn't get a response. Does anybody know if I can still get one of these and how I can contact the maker?
Also, I saw a thread on how to convert the TransAm so it would accommodate the BitViper antenna. The thread listed the Camaro parts needed and gave step by step instructions with pictures. I can't find the thread. Help please...
Thanks!

i have used the BitViper antenna for the past 7 years. A few years ago someone actually stole mine off the car in a parking lot. luckily i was able to get another one! they look like they belong on the car. And he is a great guy to deal with, i can still remember pulling up into his driveway a new owner of my Camaro in 2006 and having a nice conversation and getting a great antenna.
