Looks like the Tipp City cruise in a few Saturdays ago. That guy lives in my city and I've only seen his car once.

an old sponser used to make a lexan lense and the vynal to make the honeycomb patter he sold out of the lenses not long before closing doors. I had heard another customizer was going to pick up the project but he has quit doing stuff also.
so scour the sales section and see if you can find a set? or take a stab at heat forming some lexan.
which brings me to a question..
does anyone know if the honeycomb pattern can be removed from the oe tail lights?

I don't know if this was listed already earlier, but here is another neat option that someone made:

The 1993-1997 taillights can be separated to remove the red:

These cars are so old now, only work you will find is a custom set of lights, no one makes any production aftermarket lenses for 4th gen fbodies, the firm that made the ones above had such a hard time with selling them he quit shortly after he sold a few sets. Some of the ones in pics above are all photo shopped.

I think it was just a jig that lexan was heat formed over then the honeycomb pattern was applied via vinyl graphic. you ad to replace the outer lense on your OE taillight.

Any thoughts on where that jig may have ended up?? I would really like to start making these for people who would want them and for my own car.

no clue, but ive actually been thinking a similar thought? I have about 10 years or so of mold making and casting experience, it just always smaller highly detailed pieces. I know there are some alternatives materials for doing something like this.
