Playing around with a new idea
Playing around with a new idea Ok guys should be getting my ws6 hood soon and getting my car repainted. I know i want bb stripes and my car is the typical black and red scheme. I'm thinking I want to do something new because let's face it everybody and the grandmother has done black and red. I said I was going to do away with the red altogether and go with matte black bb stripes, PONTIAC overlay, and calipers. But I just think that you will never notice it and I'm scared I won't like it and I'm going to have them painted on so it's not like I can just pull them off. So I've been playing with idea of black and grabber blue. Grabber blue bb stripes, PONTIAC insert, and doing a cts-v brake swap and powder coating them grabber blue and powder coating my wheels gun metal. I want something new and that will pop. And I'll admit I love the color scheme of the new gt500. So what is you opinions on a black and grabber blue fbody?

You know what is annoying?
When someone (like you) posts a thread asking for peoples opinions... and then when you get them, you just say LS1Tech just wants to mold you into something tasteful, and you'll do it anyway...
Fine, but if you know what "we" are gonna say, why would you ask for opinions...?

Okay, as far as your question, I dont like the grabber blue... looks okay in your picture, but a quick google brought a baby blue... ehhh....
as far as your comment that everyone has done black and red... idk. I think TOO MANY people have dont red with black... but black with red accents I think would be cool, as long as it was minimal. The other colors suggested: Supersonic blue - that could be cool.
Personally, I wanted to keep it simple, and stay on the gray scale. silver, gunmetal, black. I think it looks awesome, but sometime I ponder what life would be like with a little color.. lol
A thorough color sheme, (whichever color you choose) will be awesome, and the car will just seem complete.
