Default Ferrari California full correction detail - Napa Trip pt2

Part 2 of the amazing trip to Napa....2010 Ferrari California

**part 1 can be seen here: https://ls1tech.com/forums/appearanc...on-detail.html
**

Resting peacefully under the cover. When it awoke, it had a sound that said "I'm ready to take on the world!" A good sound.

50/50 shot on the tail light

Side marker lights are often overlooked, but that just wasn't going to happen here!

Some issues on the hood needed sorting out...

....better

Nothing should impair the beautiful lighting these headlights deliver, so the swirls on them had to go too...

Bob handled the scratches on the wheel faces while I came in with the "camera goodness" to capture the results

Scuff near front marker light...

After application of the "scuff removal cream", it looked much better...

Late on day 3 of our stay in Napa, the Ferrari was completed! Here are the final shots

Since there was no sun at this time of night, or during the day in this weather, the Infratech light was used to verify correction results.

As a thank you for the hard work, client gifted us both with some *NICE* bottles of "Napa Goodness".

And a beautiful engine pic and comment from Bob ............

Looks great...
Just one question...And its for a mod.
Why is it that my "wash and wax" threads with pics of my lsx camaro get moved to multimedia exchange but the OP always has non lsx cars with an elaborate "wash and wax" subject stay in this section? Not knocking the OP just wanting to know what i am doing wrong putting my pics in appearance and detailing...

Great job OP

Thank you! The donuts did not survive long enough to be even photographed!

Great job OP
I don't "ALWAYS" have non-lsx cars. In fact the ones that are not LSX, I make sure they are special and worth viewing, but most of them ARE lsx-based. I don't know why your threads are getting moved as this is where "wash and wax" threads should be. But there is a drastic difference between those and what I do. Sorry but I don't do "wash and wax" jobs, its a LOT more than an "elaborate" thread title. I'm documenting a processing showing the correction of the paint, and not just beauty shots which belong more in the multimedia section.

And if your question really is for a mod, you should have PMed one.

Probably the best correction/detail I've seen posted on LS1tech - at least picture wise, without seeing the car in person. Damn thing looks like a mirror!! Good work Jeff, and cant wait to see your Z06 revival pics!

Thank you!! That Ferrari has really been received well, especially by the owner which is the most important part. The reflection pics came out great. Thanks so much.

I finished cutting down the pics on the Z06 (still a LOT though) and will start working on the writeup soon!

What do you use on the side markers and head lights? A plastic polish or is what you use on the paint ok for that?

same as on the paint, just not as aggressive since the plastic is softer than the paint
