Default Good intake for Procharger D1X?

I just purchased a LSX B15 and a Procharger D1X and am trying to figure out what a decent budget friendly intake would be to get me going. There's a ton of other parts I need so I'd like to save where I can for now.

Looks like i can get a used LS3 intake pretty cheap and then port to match a 102mm TB and get a better 102 intake down the road?

Tried searching but many older threads, and I'm new to the LS world. Sorry...

A used LS3 is probably a good start.

If you're curious, this is a good video with lots of options.

Depends on what you are trying to do with the car, but you don't really need a great flowing intake with forced induction to make power - you'll make more power with the better intake, but it mostly just moves the boost around.

If you are going for a power peak somewhere in the 6k to low 7k a factory LS3 I think is plenty.

I run an LS6 intake with a stock F-body throttle body and make 900 HP at the tire - ie. you don't need a great intake system to make a reasonable amount of power with a supercharger. If you spend your time and money on the supercharger inlet and intercooler you can max out a D1x without getting too fancy on the motor.

LS3 flows really good, even the FAST isn't much better. I think guys have good luck with factory intakes with pretty high boost too. If you really were going to abuse it with lots of boost and maybe nitrous Holley, Edelbrock and BTR make nice aluminum intakes. Just know short runner intakes give up a lot of low end power for a bit more high rpm power. My opinion is most people are better off with a stock style long runner intake.

I know its not the most "budget" friendly but I run the BTR Trinity on my setup. Works nice and is a quality piece

My reccollection is the cam in those are 210/230 duration so I think an LS3 intake would be a good starting point.
