Wow. I just bought the LT1 tails for $200. I didn't know if have to drill another hole in them. What if I just want them to light up then? Is there a way to use the four existing sockets I have to make the LT1 tail lights work? Thanks for the help man.

Yes you can just plug in your sockets to the LT1 tails. The diagram was a mod I did to make the entire red section as parking/brake only.

I can try to re add the pics from facebook, Damn photobucket screwed up a lot of my posts. But just for future reference the only real modification I did was to the LT1 housings where I had to expend some of the notches so the wiring socket would fit in. Outside of that I was still able to use the OEM sockets to wire them up.

OK i updated all the photo links. HOLY **** this was the first time ive logged into photobucket in years and they are the king of advertisements popping up in the window. That was the most annoying thing I have had to deal with in a long time.
