Got that off his build thread in the other forum
.... I want to do this. The factory DRL suck, and break... very viable solution.
Although I'm only concerned with these being a 'lamp' instead of a signal/DRL in the eyes of police (my car is wired to keep highs, lows, and fogs on at once)
Yea, that picture is from last year when I only had them taped in place to see how they could look. No problem with the law, I'm using the original DRL socket with turn signals. Just a different bulb (chrome amber).

No, I have not even driven the car yet. I bought it with a 3.8 and stripped everything out, (I mean everything) and started over with a fresh LS2, drivetrain and interior.

I just thought a fresh, modern interpretation of the DLR's were needed. Plus the old ones were faded and trashed.
