Default Question about Zaino products and new paint

I just got my T/A out of the body shop. Got the roof panel replaced (because of bubbles in paint) and a truefiber WS9 hood put on. The hood was painted on car and blended over the fenders and head light covers for paint matching. Shop manager (a GM dealer) told me not to wax it for 60 days. I have minor swirl marks in the original paint I like to take care of with Zaino Bros. products. These are polishes and not a wax right? Can I use them on the hood and roof so the car has the same shine all around?

Any painted surface needs time to release any gases.

Zaino is a paint sealant.. You dont want to use them on fresh paint. There are products you can use, but I cant remember the name off hand. i believe 3M makes some stuff.

I guess I'll just wait then. The old original paint is still in good condition. Car only has 23k on it. It's just that I see a perfect hood but and want the whole car to look that way.

Its hard but dont touch it lol, when i got my hood done it was hard nit to wash or wax it, when it does come time to get swirls out pending on how bad they are m105/m205 works beyond great,i use to be a big fan of zaino but now i could care less for it, you should check out autogeek.com, or hit up the detailing thread and ask gofast98 what he would use, post pics as well
