The engine bay is far from finished. It still needs a ton of body work and paint.
I really don't have the time to spend sanding on it hour after hour though so I will take it to a shop that's done some work on my truck and have them finish up the engine bay and paint it. I'll pull the motor and everything back out for that though. I just needed the engine in so I could get my radiator hoses and misc wiring cut to length with the engine in. I'll put the whole drivetrain in from the bottom so the motor won't really have any opportunity to mess anything up.

I don't know man. I work like 50-60 hrs a week so I just don't have the time I used to to mess with the car. I'll get around to it eventually lol. It just needs two tabs welded onto the frame rails to bolt the radiator tabs onto. Should be a really simple and easy task though!

hate you and your garage space. hate hate hate.

I like the LT1 camaro front ends better, but I can agree with your headlights. BLS made a kit for the LT1 camaros if I am not mistaken

Car looks beauitful!

Looks can be deceiveing. That's my moms house, and my car and my buddies ls1 miata is crammed in there. I will likely move the car to my house soon.

I liked the agressive look with the harwood hood, but it still looked too much like a 3rd gen with those terrible headlights, and I love the shaved clean look of an ls1 front end.

Gave her a little sun light...

So this is an update to start off the new year. It won't let me modify the title, but here goes.

Not a tremendous amount of progress, but that's always the case. A little closer though. In the past few months I've been busy working, the holidays, and my little girl keep me very busy. I try and find time to sneak into the garage when I can, but it's pretty slim as of lately. I finally plumbed all the brake lines front and rear. I purchased a rear line kit from flynbye for the rear axle. I'm running it as a 3 channel setup. So from there I ran a 3/16" line from the rear to the front. Inline wilwood prop valve in wiper hole, custom mounted, then sleekly bent and plumbed up to the master. Keep in mind this is mock up, so nothing is really tightened up as it will all be removed for more body work.

I got a few other goodies as well. Arp studs, umi TA relocation crossmember, fays2 watts link, Strano sways, Blaine fab reinforced sway bar mounts and a monster clutch/ flywheel setup. Some of it's been installed. Some has not. It's just happening as I have spare time. I've ordered a couple small odds and ends like an alternator, starter, and o2 sensors. Seemingly small items, but definitely a good chunk of a working setup. Lol.

Not a lot, but a few steps in the right direction. Enjoy.

I bought it used, but it's a satin stretch cover from jw motoring. Best indoor cover IMO.

Glad to hear the list is getting smaller, mine is still a mile long lol. Man for the longest time I thought your car was navy blue from the first pic when it had the LT front end. But now seeing it outside on the tow truck I can tell its black, fuggin sexy as hell too. too bad you didnt have the hood on, wouldve looked sick just for a little teaser lol
