Lol. It's a stock 97 lt1 t56 shift ball without the crappy leather wrap on it. It will be changed once the car is moving. I hate that thing.
To all the other replies, I really appreciate all the good feedback and compliments. It actually puts a little motivation behind this project. It's been slow rolling lately as I just started a new job, granted I'm now making 4x my previous income, I'm really tight on free time. On top of not having time right now, my girlfriend and I are preparing to buy a house in the next 6months to 1 yr, so saving for a good down payment is vital. I haven't really done anything to the car lately. I sold the Koni/Strano setup that was on the car in preparation for a set of KW variant 3 coilovers that I'll be purchasing soon. The only thing that I have even bought is lines for the radiator AN fittings and a UMI adjustable full length torque arm.

Don't give up hope, it's just slow rolling. I'll get it squared away and done the way I want it and perfect. So stay tuned. I'll update as soon as possible guys. Thanks again!

The suspension and chassis is slowly coming together, all I lack in that department are sways, watts link and transmission crossmember/TA relocation. Should have this thing mocked up on the ground for a little teaser here soon.
I sold the kooks headers that were on the motor just to replace them with ARH headers and carted y-pipe. I will tell you the ground clearance is definitely better with the ARH headers vs the kooks but they were a little tighter fit even with be tubular K. All in all though it should be a little better than the kooks just with the better y pipe design and merge, so I'm really excited about that plus after running the lt1 without cats, I will never own another car like that, I hated smelling like exhaust all the time. +1 for the carted setup now. Through them on for mock up in just a few minutes.

I also drilled a small 1/4" hole in the top of the shock tower for ease of rebound adjustment on the KW's. the twist of a 2mm Allen wrench and I can fine tune it once I get it on the track.

Don't mind the still unfinished body work on the shock towers.
I've also started on my AN radiator hoses, but its still in the works
