SS hood, SS spoiler, 17" Zr1's or 17" SS 10 spokes, thicker front sway bar, & the SS had a different muffler.
Centermount exhaust was an SS option, the blackwing lid was an option, I believe there were different bilstein shocks & different springs were an suspension option as well.

Now for my opinion. It's your car, do what you want. You want to make it look like an SS? Who gives a **** it's your car. You want to paint it pink & glue ****** to the hood? Who gives a **** it's your car.
Mod it the way you want, drive it like it was meant to be driven & enjoy it for what it is.

+1 w/the "everything but the SS badge" opinion.....
.....but if you wanted to be super-duper extra cool, you could add the Auburn Differential and adjustable Koni's like my 1LE....but then again, in the end, all you'd have is a glorified Z28 like my SS is anyhow...

I just had an SS hood and wing painted and put on my 98 this week.
