I think it was a jab at how many platforms GM has tossed SS badges on. I mean, come on, a Malibu Maxx SS? They really diminished the significance of the badge when they started doing that crap. That always bothered me about GM...the other thing that bothers me is when I see a clone that I can clearly tell is a clone due to poorly placed badges. If you are going to do it, do it right and at least get the badges in the right spot.

pretty much all you need to make a SS is the apearance stuff. hood spoiler and badges.
most of the z28s i see have at least the hood. the only people that seem to have the flat hood are the v6 owners.
and if you didnt know the WU8 code is on the door of a SS car.
i wanna get ZL1 badges myself but i dont want people laughing at me just yet.
and 90% of the people i talk to would have no idea what a ZL1 was. and if they did they probably wouldnt know about the 4th gen version.

i would rock the flat hood with my V8, but would like the ss spoiler. There are a few cats on here that have their cars that way and i think they look BAMF. Gm has destroyed the ss name, it means nothing anymore. Oh well.

the whole "poser" **** is getting old. I mean really, I have a Z with an SS hood and an SS wing with ZR1 wheels on it... big deal! I also happen to have a legit SS sitting right beside it. They just look naked with the flat hood and a flat wing. besides, the hood weighs like a million pounds less than the steel one.
I agree............ Its still a camaro with add ons. Once you mod a car its yours to do whatever you want it to be.

I dont see a problem with it. I have an ss hood on my z28 and im currently looking for an ss spoiler as well. Im just going to leave the z28 badges however since its not a big deal to me.

Z28's should only have an SS spoiler paired with a stock or Sunoco hood lol
