DO NOT use citristrip on sun baked VHT. I was reading up on how to remove it myself and read about that ****. It ruined my taillights. If you've had the tint on for more than 6 months your only option is to sand it IMO. I tried gas and other cheap solutions....None of them worked.

I like the look of a lightly tinted taillight. I don't care for it to be blacked out like most of the cars posted in here. Just a light tint to give it a smoked feel. Needs to be nice and glossy too. None of that crappy matte finish. I tinted my corner lenses on my old saturn. They were bright clear and I just smoked them and I think it changed the whole look of the front of the car without overdoing it.

7 parts clear base to 1 part black, 7:1 sprayed to desired darkness however many coats to your liking. Mine is about 4, then finished with clear coat.

I'm with him, if you absolutely want to I would do it lightly not full blacked out.

I honestly wouldn't do it. IMHO do the berger and leave the tails alone.

I'd leave them alone. Red car, red tail lights, IMO.

I disagree. Red cars look great with tinted tails.

Both cars tinted clear coat. Look dark, lights on lights are still bright. My black one has 12 light LEDs that shoot straight back. Friends TA has stock lights and you can see the honeycombs clear as day when lights are on.

Not any good ones. Just a crap cell phone pic. I have aftermarket tails on mine. The lights when lit up look like demon eyes. Here is what i got with just the lights on, no brake on pics. They look bad *** in person though. I get a lot of compliments on them when people follow me.

I really prefer the tinted night look myself, they are still clearly visible, the tails just have a slight purple tint to them, Ill try to remember to get one tonight.
