this still amazes me.. my 93 glasstek 4" cowl pin-on fit PERFECT. i just dont see how one can fit perfect and then one doesnt fit at all. maybe the ebay sellers are smart enough not to ship a hood that needs trimming because they know they'll get bad feedback. or they just do knock-off's and put the glasstek label on it. if thats the case, the knock-off is better than glassteks.

friend of mine has a glasstek hood that fits perfect, looks like a perfect clone of a SLP hood.

threads like this make me uneasy of paying more for a "better hood"

If I am going to put hours of labor into a hood, might as well get a cheap one from some no name brand.

hopefully this is just a one time deal :/
