Default Vertical Doors

Anybody interested in this vertical door kit from Vertical Doors (www.verticaldoors.com)? Kits are $1600 and we need an order of 10 before they will make a custom kit for the F-Body. Just wanted to see if I could generate interest from fellow F-Boders.

It better be able to haul azz.
I kinda like it, although the splitter at the bottom of the front bumper is a bit much.

I've heard from many people that doing the vertical door mod on a car with a frameless window, that you will never get it to seal up correctly. If you think your T-tops leak now, just wait!

I agree, if you've got a hard top, I still wouldn't bother. Definately better things to spend money on. Unless your itching to throw money out the window.

I personally think the doors on my 00 WS6 are too big and I have to open them quite a bit in order to get out( even with seat all the way back). BUt then I have to worry about scratching the paint on my car against the car beside me. These vertical doors would be nice to have but, for the price, I dont see many people runnunig out a getting a pair. Under 1K, and I think they would get a bite.
I dont see the issues of having the vertical door set-up and leaks. If this kit is designed like others, the door first slides out horizontally a bit, then pivots upward. If this is true, then our windows would place an equal amount of pressure on the door/t-top seals as they did swinging outward in the stock position. Just my $.02. Ray.
