Default Placing Trans Am script lower on door?

Has anybody ever done this? I am planning on removing the side molding on my TA. However, every pic I look at with the molding deleted it just seems like the Trans Am script is too high on the door. I feel it would look better slightly lower.

Just curious as to whether anybody has done this before or not. Also would like to see pics of alternate emblems on the door in place of the traditional script.

Never thought about relocating it lower, it would look better than in the original spot.

!side molding and !Trans am looks best IMO anyway.

I feel like some cars pull it off and other don't. It depends heavily on the color IMO.

Black and blue, for instance, look fantastic with !molding and !trans am. Pewter however, looks best with !molding and a black overlay on the trans am.

I am really considering deleting the molding and side script and buying a set of the stainless Onyx scripts from emblem pros. Then placing those closer to the bottom of the door.

Just wish I could see this done before hand. I might have to be the guinnea pig..

I would delete everything. So much cleaner! Then again, I have a black TA

Pewter and black go really well together. Keeping the black Trans Am decal may be worth keeping if this is the look you are going for

I have Pewter.... !side molding... The Trans Am is coming off as well.

I don't think ANY fbody and C5 looks good with side moldings, cheap cheap cheap.

Black on black, remember that it's important... Chubb Rock anybody?? Anyway I did this. Black car and Black Onyx TA script from Emblempros. Just pulled the side molding yesterday to make sure I'd be happy with script placement. Definitely needs to be a bit lower than factory if you are pulling moldings. Moldings on a black car in south florida sun for 30 minutes came off like a breeze. Took me about 10 minutes to get moldings off and adhesive. I love the looks of these emblems on a black car. From a distance they are hard to see but anywhere near the car and they look badass. I still need to get the ghost outline of top and bottom adhesive left by moldings but I'll hit it with Goo Gone later.

The stock Trans Am emblems look to thick to me once the side molding is gone, those emblempros look great, think I might order some in white composite.

Crappy pic but they are far more visible in person. Camera does not capture well.
