Did it on my previous and current cars and loved the results. Some people replace the motors at the same time but I didn't find it necessary, but my motors were not completely gone. It was fairly easy to install (especially the second time, lol). The kit comes with crimp connectors but I soldered mine. The window speed is just like the video clips.

Truly worth it.
How does it work? From the factory the passenger side draws it's power from the driver's side switch.
The kit fixes this so that the passenger side draws power directly.

Yes, nothing changes except for how it gets powered and the longevity of the motor.

If I relplace the motor it should last long time and if I just replace the motor I don't needed to replace the hole thing

I have no clue what you need. Check and see what needs replacing.

You can also do it on your own with some wiring, ring/fork lugs and a couple relays from napa. there's a write-up around here somewhere, I should be doing it pretty soon

Really isn't that hard...

However, just noticed the price of the auto trix kit, I thought it was a lot more...

WS6 store has it for about 30 bucks

I saw some others on ebay/amazon as well.

I wasn't going to comment but the cost of the Autotrix isn't much more than finding the part on your own.

Yeah, I guess I was thinking of the express down kit. Doing it yourself is cheaper if you already have most of the stuff, which I do, but for the extra 5 bucks or so I'd rather just support a vendor and buy the kit.
