well about that. lol i totally agree. but love the front of bumper so much more than the firebird front cover.... SO i am trying to figure out a way to match the formula's contour on bottom corners. it could easily be done. but that plastic there as flexed, and if i used filler after grinding it down im thinking that i would have lots of cracking problems. and i was going to try and tackle that b4 painting it but was just sooooooooo over body work. lol so i thought id put it off. ill have it done by the next national f body meeting next summer.

AN UPDATE FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN DOING THIS. it seems at though hood pins might be manditory. on the nose, the fiberglass is folded and its also obviously flexed on the hood to give it its bulbous shape. well it likes to try to pull apart creating a gap or crack on the inside wall of the nostrils. in more detail, the hood latch on my car is tight, and when the hood is shut, the crack becomes noticable. when its open, crack disappears. aka hood latch is trying to pull it apart. so hood pins were not a bad idea from the integrity stand point.

Black car with the bars pretty much just deleted? That's the guy who inspired me to try this. Lol I took it a bit further but still give him kudos. I wouldn't have had the ***** if I hadn't seen him do it. Lol and I have nightmares about fiberglass now. Ha

Wow...never thought I'd say this but it looks sick! I love the front end. The duck tail rear wing is different and looks AWESOME. All the little things add up and set the car off. Nice work! ![Happy](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_stretch.gif)
Only thing I'd change is the rims. A nice set of OEM C5Z rims would make it look perfect IMO.
