plasti dip on the hood

Anyone done this? I was thinking of a stripe down the center on my SS hood. I know its a temp thing,but how long would it last?

Are you trying to put like matte black stripes on your black hood, or plasti dip the whole hood. If you only plasti dip the stripes, i think theyre gonna peel off while driving at higher speeds.

they won't peel off at high speeds... -______-

they should last a couple months given occasional washes, worst come to worst when they start to "fade" just mask them off again and give them another coat!

My friend had plastidip on his wheels for months. He also did the sail panel on the trans am shortly after and it's still on there...4-5 months or so now I think.

Mine have done fine. A buddy of mine has taken his car through the carwash and they have still held up. I painted some parts on my beater also and they have help up for 6 months so far.
