Default G8 Reflectors on 6LE TA Diffuser

Thinking about purchasing some G8 rear reflectors and molding them onto my 6LE diffuser. What do you guys think? I know the contour is different but I believe I could sand that down and polish it back up so that it fits the contour of the CETA.

Or can anyone think of another OEM reflector that might work?

any reason why? seems pointless, as they're not needed, and they don't seem to add anything, looks-wise.

That looks much better!!! I think it adds a lot of interest, but they probably dont have to be from a G8, you can find a reflector that matches better

Yea, I think reflectors would look good in the rear but not so sure about the G8's. Anyone have an idea as to a better reflector?

I like it! It is so subtle and perfect- and the shape of the G8 reflectors reminds of Trans Am second gen rear lights, It is perfect!!!!!!!

It looks good but what's the point in needing reflectors?

Jus' trying to make my car a lil' well-cultured, with some European styling. Worked well on the G8's.

So you're saying my Trailblazer has a European look to it because the reflectors are in the bumper?

G8s and such have those because there are no reflectors in the tail lights themselves. I prefer the reflectors as part of the lights personally.

Not a fan, more pointless really. Most people spend time trying to hide such things (side markers, turn signals)

Yea, I'm still on the fence about them and I'm one of those people that hide such things. I blacked out my front and rear side reflectors because it stuck out like a sore thumb on a black car in my opinion. I also felt the light beam pattern looked really bad and cheap.

As to the rear, I feel it adds a lil' more definition, contrast and pop along with the diffuser.

Europe requires the use of reflectors in the rear for safety reasons. Most of the car designers in Europe aesthetically design the reflectors into the rears for a pleasing look - something I'm trying to replicate. That does not equate to all cars that uses reflectors look European - as evident by your Trailblazer and this Camaro:

lol yeah that export bumper is Although it has rear fogs in it, not just a reflector strip, which is why they are so big. Still hideous.

But your tail lights (and Camaros too) already have reflectors built into them, which I guess is why I don't know why you want more reflectors.

It's not an issue that I "need reflectors" jus' as much as I didn't need a diffuser, which nets no gain in performance - jus' aesthetics.

I also realized we are opposites. I own a Trans Am and an '02 Envoy and you own a Camaro/Trailblazer.
