Just got some tint, 5%...
I ended up getting 5% tint all the way around, guy did my rear hatch in 1 piece and looks amazing, he did a great job and only cost 130 bucks. I wish I could post pics but I'm on my phone and dont have a computer so I can't. But I wanted to let anyone know who's considering 5% tint, its really not that bad at night... U can still see **** even on roads with no street lights, hopefully I can use a friends computer and post pics soon.

i have 5 on my back window and 15 on the sides and i cant see **** when im backing up at night but its a minor inconvenience for never being blinded at night from behind. after accidently cutting someone off once they followed me with their brights on and i couldnt help but smile while looking in my rearview.

yeah, even with dark tint, driving at night is doable, the only thing I find difficult at times is bagging up... but then again my reverse lights are completely blacked out and I haven't bought good/bright bulbs to replace the basic ones I have.
I just took my car back to the shop to get more tint work done, wasn't happy with how light my side windows were. I now have 5% on the hatch, 35% on the windshield, and double 35% on the sides (12.25%), blacked-out t-tops... you can't see in anymore. LOVE it. got pulled over for it like a couple days ago when a police driving head-on towards me noticed the windshield, but he let me off, my lucky day.

I can see very well backing up now that I installed 55-watt 4,300K HIDs in my Camaro's reverse lights. I built special holders for the bulbs to reduce heat. I've used them for over a year, and haven't had any problems with my lenses melting, warping, or burning. They've been a great mod that has radically increased my rearward visibility and, since they only took me 2 - 3 hours' worth of work to make, I recommend this upgrade to anyone.

5% is very helpful at night with idiots behind you that leave their brights on or those lifted trucks that shine right through the hatch. I've NEVER had to use my night dimmer on my rear view mirror after getting 5% on all windows.

I've got a lighter tint on my TA- guessing it's probably around 25-35%. Since I had the car painted black now the tint looks grey lol. I found a shop that said they can do 2% so I plan on giving that a shot as soon as I've got the $. He also said he could tint the t-tops with a non metallic tint; not sure how dark they'll be but anything is better than what's on them from the factory. The Florida sun is brutal!
