Default Those that have opened up their tail lights, I need help

I can't get the tail lights apart. I heated them at 200* for 20 minutes and they will not budge. Put them back in the oven for 15 more minutes and now the lense is starting to break as I try to pry it open.

HELP

Camaro tail lights are fused together. They don't bake open.

Oh wow you're kidding me! I was going to put LEDs in them. Looks like I'll be cutting them open. I've seen people open them up, I just didn't know it required CUTTING them open. It even looks like there is a seam like the camaro headlights have where you can pry it open once they're heated.

This project just got that much more difficult lol

Just MAKE SURE to seal them as best as you can. Dont want moisture getting in there. Ide even suggest using the oem sockets to keep that water tight seal

Yeah I'll still be using the OEM sockets for the LEDs.

Dremel with a narrow-ish diameter carbide cutting bit. Go slow and take your time, it can take as long as it needs to take.

Not worth the effort.
Just leave the stock bulbs in them....

Really wanted to do this, but I'm going to leave them stock. I made a real mess of one of the tail lights trying to cut it open. Dremel wheel was not a big enough diameter to cut through so I had to bust out the saw-zall.
