By far one of the cleanest engine bays I've ever seen on tech, actually, your whole car is insanely clean. You're really making me want to do this but I know it'll be a pain in the *** to paint everything.
I think the two things that made the biggest difference are painting the radiator support and surrounding areas black, then the frc's.
Only thing I would change is to shoot a few coats of clear on the strut tower area where you painted it red, but that's because I like gloss. Nice work!

^thanks
I REALLY thought hard about that one when I was doing the painting. finally decided against it as I actually really liked the way it was looking non-cleared. But thanks!

Nice & clean, ...,
But the airlid-base sticks out like a sore thumb.
Wrap it, or go black like the rest.

Once you've got the vinyl it's like wrapping a gift lol. It's hard to describe, but it's essentially the same idea. You'll need the vinyl, a razor blade, and a squeegee tool to help lay it down. A heat gun is a huge help as well, and can be had for a little over $20. Search "scotchprint 1080" on YouTube and checkout some videos of people using it. It takes some getting used to, so buy more thn you need. I was originally planning to wrap my targa, splitter, sail panel, and the top of the spoiler, so I got a 25' roll. Ended up only doing the targa and splitter so had a rediculous amount left. So after searching for things to wrap I finally found my way under the hood, I didn't want to use it in the interior at all since it didn't look right with my interior. Although I did do my door sills, but they don't really count since you never see them.
Still have like 10' on the roll with a bunch of scrap pieces large enough to wrap plenty of other things. Thinking about wrapping my laptop lol.

you guys got to me, I'm starting to reconsider the grey box. I mean, I like it, but I think it can look better. I was trying to figure out why it did seem to be sticking out more than it did in the past, and it just hit me.. before I had the FRC's painted the same color, so they all tied together much better. Now that I've switched those it is the only think that color. But still I dont want to wrap, so I think I'm gonna try to find a darker grey to better match the strut tower brace. If i cant find that I'll probably end up going black with it.
